Insurance
The club and its members shall hold valid and current AMA insurance. The club's flying site on the State of Connecticut property will be covered through the AMA's insurance policy by purchasing the rider supplied by the A.M.A. (Academy of Model Aeronautics)

Meetings
Monthly club meetings will be on the Second Wednesday of the month February thru November at the Harwinton Firehouse starting at 7:30pm

New Membership and Dues
Prospective members will fill out an application for membership. The application can be either mailed in or delivered at a meeting. Before acceptance to membership, you must have AMA Insurance. Club Dues are $50.00 for a single member. There is an additional one-time initiation fee of $40.00. Club Dues are due starting the second Wednesday of April. Dues and Fees are non refundable.

Flying Field
The Balsa Bandits fly at Sunnybrook State Park off of Newfield Rd in Torrington, CT. Club members will receive the lock combination to the gate so they can drive their vehicles down to the field. Vistors must arrange for a member to meet them, or they are welcome to walk in on their own.
